The mayor of Nima and also the CEO of Broadway Entertainment, Abdul Fattah Alhassan in collaboration with the CEO of Afro-Arab Group, Abdul Salam Amadu on Saturday 19th of May 2023 tours across ghettos in Nima and its environment to educate them on the effects of drug abuse.

The mayor of NIma, Abdul Fattah Alhassan also known as Cashier, expressed concern over the increase in cases of death of the youth abusing drugs and advised them to desist from the habit and only take drugs prescribed by health professionals.
The youth residing in the ghettos in Nima, Accra have been assured of medical assistance and job opportunity to help overcome addictions to drugs.
This progressive initiative was also honored by Dr. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu. The king of all Ibo communities in Ghana. Igwe Chukudi lauded the organizers for that initiative to help the youth. He said he would support them by sending those who need help to the rehabilitation center and urged the addicts to remain determined to come out of their situation.

The ambassador and the Chief Executive Office of the Afro-Arab Group, Abdul Salam Amadu said, unemployment was one of the reasons why young people were abusing drugs. He admonished the ghetto youth to abstain from taking in harmful substance which isn’t good for their health. He also asked the youth people in the ghettos who are willing to overcome abusing drugs to come out to get their names written so that they can give them the necessary support they deserved as well as offer them a job.

Nima Ghetto Tour was supported by Youth Activists, Health Professionals, Opinion Leaders, and Business owners to engage the youth in discussions on the danger of abusing drugs and the importance of entrepreneurship.
